Join us for this exciting workshop where so many questions that you have about your body will be answered! 🤔
This workshop is great for you if you are a dancer (any discipline), if you practice pilates or yoga, if you are an aerialist, contortionist, hand balancer etc. If you are a mover and want to know how to get the most out of your body, and work through some old aches and pains, this is the workshop for you.💃🏻👯♀️🤸🏽♀️🧘🏻♀️
The workshop will be broken up into three sections.
1. a brief overview of the anatomy you need to know (skin, bones, ligaments, joints, muscles, tendons and nervous system) so we can all talk about the body and be on the same page.
2. each dancer will fill out their personal workbook as we evaluate everyones
- mobility of every joint
- head to toe stability
- breathing patterns
3. Discuss how to use the workbook you just filled out with details about your mobility, stability, balance and breathing patters to develop your own corrective rehab routine. You can use the same workbook to re-test and create a new routine for yourself as you make improvements over time, or in the face of a new injury.
You will leave the workshop with a personalized routine to start improving your most troublesome areas!
Cost per participant: $100 includes, the workshop, printed materials, lacrosse ball w/pouch.
